Anyone with HSC Science with a valid JEE & CET Score can apply. Application forms can be downloaded from the official website e.vit.edu.in or can be collected offline from campus. One can apply through CAP rounds through government quota. No improvements in the admission process. It's smooth at the institute level.

Biomedical Engineering is an Extraordinary field that will help me explore the healthcare industry in a unique way. I personally have an interest in medical imaging and instrumentation. This course enables many opportunities like Biomedical Engineer, R & D, service engineer, Designer etc. One can pursue Masters's and gain more knowledge in the field.

Biomedical Department has tie ups with different Hospitals and Government. Department has MOM with some of the Hospitals which provide internships to the students. MACCIA AND JUGADFUNDA which is the government internship provided to the students and the selection process are done on the basis of General aptitude test. This internship is totally Research based. Students are free to choose the internship in any field as per their choice of interest.

Students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Core Biomedical companies like GE, Medtronics, biosense etc and IT companies like TCS, JIO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc Recruit Biomedical Engineers. Most Biomedical Students prefer Masters over placements. 80 percent of students from selected candidates get placed. I will go for Placements and I will get into post graduation after clearing GATE 2023.

Candidates admitted through Government CAP Round are the ones who get benefitted with Scholarship. Post matric scholarship for OBC is the tuition fees waiver scholarship for OBC students. Other non eligible candidates can apply for trust scholarship if any. Institute has in house internships for students which really helped me to explore new things in the field.

Vidyalankar Campus and Infrastructure are at their best. One enjoys life at the VIT campus as Student Council has Friday Pathshala every week at gate number 2. Different committees like BMSA, BMESI and other students bodies conduct different activities during academics. Sports council conducts SPORTSMANIA & VEMPS every year. Student bodies conduct convocation ceremonies for the seniors.

Vidyalankar Campus doesn't have hostel facilities. Most of the OHU students prefer PG and Hostels in nearby localities. I live in Bunts Sangha working women's hostel in Kurla. Rent for the hostel differs for students and working women. Rooms are fully furnished and well managed and hygienic. Food can be rated as 7/10. Mess charge is the same for all which includes breakfast and dinner.
