I love my college every college has its good and bad areas. However since the ratio of good is more than the bad I would totally call my college a very fashion college.
Entrance Preview
There was a GK test on basics of Fashion Knowledge as our entrance examination. I always wanted to join this college as it was all girls college and I always wanted a college near by with the best reviews. Sophia's was once of them.
Internships Opportunities
There were many offers from various companies. We were spoilt for choices. Unfortunately I did not get a stipend as I had opted to join a eminent fashion designer. Many other in my class who joined somewhere else got a good stipend though. It depended who you choose to intern with.
Placement Experience
The placements were great. Its was like a fair and we had many choices I was offered 2 jobs after he many interviews and was offered a great salary for a starter.
College Events
We had many intra and inter college events like chocolate day,Kaleidoscope,saree day,annual day,teachers day. These event helped us relax and get away from every day routine.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since the college in my first year was a private institute I had paid Rs 40,000 for the course alone. Second and third year my college changed to a government college and the fees were minimized to Rs 7000 only.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not really and not that I am aware of it. However I think my college was very helpful to many students who could not afford the course as they looked from poor families and were still a part of the course.
Campus Life
Since I was in a all girls college the experience was great. I was a free bird we were more than comfortable in college. There were freshers party organised by our seniors we organised farewells etc. It was a great college experience ever.
Hostel Facilities
The mess was great. Good healthy food lots of variety and it changed everyday. College hostel was good too. I wasn't living there but from my friends I heard it was very good and they had an experience of their own.
Exam Structure
The examinations were great and very practical unlike schools unrealistic math problem. We were asked realistic situation and general questions during examination. Which are really helpful.
Faculty
The Faculty was great! great teacher with immense knowledge in this field. There was a personal bonding with the teachers which helped us to grasp better.
