Remarks
The admission process involved a Personal Interview Round which was taken for the selected students after the exam - SNUSAT. This exam was conducted by the university itself and they had tested the students on Quantitative Ability, Language Skills, Written Ability.
Course Curriculum Overview
There were faculty members from all over the world who were academicians in their fields with a huge amount of expertise and research papers under the name. Having such technically qualified faculty was a great boon as it massively benefited the students in understanding the basic concepts and applying them in practical life.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good for the ECE & CSE batches. However other batches are improving year by year and becoming better. Notable brands such as Cognizant, Dell, Amazon visit the campus for recruitments and recruit enthusiastically as they trust the SNU brand and its ability to attract good talent.
Fees and Financial Aid
There were scholarships awarded to students based on their scores achieved in the entrance tests. The scholarships were categorized as A, B & C. Wherein, A scholarship band student received a 100% waiver on their tuition fees. B scholarship band students received a 75% waiver on their tuition fees. C scholarship band students received a 50% waiver on their tuition fees. The scholarship was conditional upon maintaining a CGPA of 6.5 or above.
Campus Life
The campus is very huge with a sprawling 275+ acres. The campus supports a diverse ecosystem with deers, ducks, and horses a common sight. The campus has a very rich infrastructure of sports facilities with 6-7 basketball courts, 2 football fields, multiple practice nets for cricket, 2 volleyball fields, multiple badminton courts. The student-run clubs host a wide array of activities that engage the students and keep the campus environment vibrant.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are amazing with regular cleaning of the hostel rooms and washrooms. The hostel system is that of a residential campus at SNU. The hostels are kept a decent distance from the academic sections of the campus so that students can truly enjoy their hostel lives and form meaningful relationships with the people.
