Remarks

I have chooses BBA because i had a kneen interest in business. I stay in siliguri, so i keep visiting SIT Campus to enquire about the Admission. The application for BBA was available online so i filled it there and paid application fees. Some Seats are reserved for Under Priviledged Studnets and financial assistance are also provided to them

Course Curriculum Overview

I am Currently Studying BBA and i choosed this as because i had kneen interest in business and my plans for future is to Pursue MBA. The faculty student ratio is around 1:50. The teachers are highly Qualified and they bring ocean of knowledge with them. The exams are held Every Six months, usually every December and July. Our College is Affilated to North Bengal University.

Class Size: 43Course Fees: INR 68000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible for getting placement as soon as they complete 5th Semester. Companies like WIPRO,Amazon,Adobe visit every year for recruiting Graduates. The highest package offered till date is around 25LPA but an average of 4.5-5 LPA with around 50-60 %students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree is to pursue MBA from a good College.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is reasonable as it is a Private College. Fees are Stable and College at the time of admission gives details of all the fees they will be charging during our Course. Students can apply for the scholorship schemes like Swami Vivekanand Scholorship. The Placement is good with around 50-55% students getting placed with a average of 4.5LPA.

Campus Life

Life at Campus is amazing. The campus is Surrounded with Tea plantation all around and it is just 2-3 kms away from main city. Transportation is easily available from the college. Each department has got its own building and We have a Common Library for all. Digital Classes are available.

Stepping stone to success

Siliguri Institute of Technology: A Journey of Learning and Opportunities

I got TFW quota in this college from WBJEE Counselling, so for this the total fees for me is 1/8th of the fees paid by other, who take admission through Direct or with WBJEE Counselling itself. So return of investment is very good for me. And another reason is Place. You're in north side, from where Darjeeling (The Queen of Hills) is about 60-70 km.
