Remarks

Placement cell , because financial markets students don't get placements related to the field .Introduce certifications related to field , promote certifications which are known at pan India level. Only few professors are good at teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose financial markets because i have interest in this field, faculty is good enough. The faculty is amazing but not everyone has a good teaching style. Their qualifications are remarkable. The exams occur at every 6 months and the difficulty level is moderate.

Okay, so we don't get anything related to our field. So I'm going to pursue cfa and then opt for jobs. I'm also pursuing actuarial science so I'll get jobs by that domain too. But people with operations, marketing,HR and content do get good jobs from their respective field.

Fees and Financial Aid

So considering the somaiya University they are remarkable in managing the campus ,events,sports, curricular activities,non curricular activities, in-campus placements as well as non campus placements but the degree college has no comparison because the quality of teaching is not good. You do get scholarships and opportunities one just need to know how to identify and be enthusiastic towards it.

Campus Life

So the campus life is amazing, you'll find alot of places to chill with your friends plus there are three hostels in the campus itself. Alot of places to explore and eat in the campus. Classrooms are good enough, spacious with fan and good benches, blackboard,projector. Alot of auditoriums in the campus . Amazing libraries,people are good , helpful and enthusiastic. There are 6 grounds in the campus itself. Honestly there is what not in the somaiya campus. You will get a number of clubs to participate which are remarkable for the cv too.

Placement Experience:

There are no campus placements offered in my college. The placements after completinh the course are great About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered/expected for bcom course at this college is 5 6 lpa, About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of bank accountants etc.

Soumya Vidyavidhyar is Superfluous!!

Placement Experience:

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Mithibai College of Arts is Music to ears!!

Placement Experience:

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.

Impeccable, amazing and unbelievable are the placements here. For B.Com which is as always a crowded college, making sure 60-70% students have placements through campus is a task not less than climbing everest. I applied to KJ and Rizvi as well and got confirmation from Rizvi, but after comparing it with SK Somaiya in aspects such as sports and curriculam, SK Somaiya was the best fit for me. So basically I wanted to join somaiya Vidyavihar only it was a dream college for me and the process was like we have to apply or registered online on their portal then you all have to wait for the merit list if your name is there they then you will get a mail for the admission process where you will get an so my as mail id which is for educational purpose or any details or any information about the college or about the campus the svv net ID portal which will be provided in the mail from there you have to fill the form and you have to pay the fees online offline is not allowed like everything you have to pay online and after that when you will go to the college you have to collect your ID's before that you have to take appointment in that portal only in the ID Card section and then you will get an ID from the college campus...Read More
