IIIT Una Review

My Jee rank was between 25k to 45k and my 10+2 score was around 60%. So I was looking for an engineering college as per my JEE academic score but I wanted to opt for ECE so according to my academic and JEE score IIIT Una was best fitted to my preference. So I took part in JOSAA counselling and secure my seat in IIIT Una. The college faculty is highly experienced and expert.

The curriculum of the college is very good and it is up to date that follows the latest international industrial norms and standards. The curriculum is designed to impart to us the basic detailing of electrical components with circuit design and the importance of the electric system for the growth of technology. The faculty of the college is also highly qualified and they are masters in their respective fields. The faculty is not only of PhD standards but they have really very good industrial research work experience from the top universities of India.

6th semester is dedicated to the internship program and the college provides us with very good internship opportunities our details are also registered with the placement committee so they can use these details during the time of placement also. The average salary stipend for the internship is around 45k.

The college is new but the college provides really very good placement options and the college is able to reach 100% placement. The college placement committee is very helpful and they guide us and help us during every round of placement. The highest package was 17 LPA and the average salary package was approx 10 LPA. Around more than 85+ companies visited our campus for the college placement drive. The placement drive of the college was quite successful.

The scholarship on behalf of financial background is available. The college average course fee si 8 lakh but the college average salary package is around 10 LPA which is a good placement offer from a new college. The MHRD and MOE scholarship schemes are also availble.

College life is simple and friendly. The seniors and the administrative staff of the college are very cooperative and friendly. The college has clubs like Epmoc is the cultural club, Eunoia and AVEESH FORCE where we can be part of it. The classrooms have AC. The college library is the house of many bestseller books from around the world. The college infrastructure is very well maintained.

The hostel rooms are good and the hostel is newly made. The rooms have attached balconies to them. The hostel bathrooms are also kept clean and they are clean on daily basis. The hostel mess food quality is good and the wardens and the hostel staff is quite professional and they are expert in their work. 24-hour water and power supply are available. The hostel has all kinds of facilities for us.
