NIT Puducherry Review

I have an average academic record and as per my JEE rank, I was allotted NIT Puducherry during my JOSAA counselling. ECE is the flagship course of the college which is a plus point or as I wanted to complete my B.Tech from ECE the college cutoff was as per my JEE and my academic performance so I managed to take admission in the college. The college is good it is in the developing phase and the faculty is also good and it is a really good place for a person like me who has scored an average percentage in academics and JEE.

The curriculum of ECE is very good the curriculum is latest and up to date and according to the latest industrial guidelines. The curriculum is a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. The faculty is also very good and experienced. The faculty is not only of PhD level but their teaching methods are also very good and interactive. The faculty have completed their research work from the top universities of India and abroad. The faculty helps us to understand the complex concepts in a very easy way and they also tell us some interesting tips to remember the concepts.

The internships are optional and if we wanted to opt for an internship we have to take the help of the placement committee of the college as we have to register our details to the placement committee of the college. They will help to find the company for internship. The average stipend for an internship is around 40k.

The college has good placement. The college has a record of 100% placement. The college committee plays a very important role in providing us with good placement offers. As per the college free, the placement offers are very good. The return on investment is very good. The college placement committee helps us and guides us during every round of placement so that we are placed with good offers. The highest package ranges up to 16 LPA and the average ranges up to 7 LPA.

The complete college fee is around 5 to 6 lakh including the hostel fee. The college fee is very reasonable in comparison to top-notch colleges of India and the college also provides good placement so the return on investment is good. There is an education loan facility available and the college also provides financial grants and aid also. The state and central funded scholarships are available.

The campus life of the college is very good. The seniors and the administrative staff is cooperative and friendly. The campus is located away from the city which is very good. The college library is the house of lots of books from international bestsellers. The college also provides lab facilities for every department like- chemistry lab, Eee lab, ECE lab, civil lab, CSE lab and an EG lab, etc. There are different labs for different departments. The college also organises sports competitions for us.

The hostel is good. The rooms are big and properly ventilated. The rooms have basic amenities like beds, almirahs and study tables with chairs. The hostel mess food quality is very good and the menu has North Indian and South Indian cuisine into it. The hotel has 24 hours power and electricity supply. The hostel wardens and the staff is very hardworking and cooperative. The hostel has all kinds of facilities.
