Entrance Preview

Currently preparing for GMAT and CAT. The GMAT preparation is very lengthy and hard.

Course Curriculum Overview

I specialised in HR. The course was an exhaustve study into all aspects of human resources.

Internships Opportunities

We were not allowed a stipend during our internship as per North Bengal University. The internship itslef was to work with an HR manager in a firm. It was a small travel agency.

College Events

We had various multi cultural events on college. These included sports events, business quises, business games etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

BBA being a professional course was about 26k a semester which is affordable but still quite a bit for a middle class family considering the fee for other courses.

Exam Structure

Exams were monthly assessments and semester exams. These were pretty chilled out.

Good Exposure Through Internships with Reputated Companies

Placement Experience:

Many reputated companies such as TCS Wipro Infosys Deloitte and HDFC Bank visit the campus regularly. The highest package offered last year was around 9LPA, while the average package ranges between 4-5 LPA depending on the profile. Nearly 70-75 % of eligible students get placed every year.

Good for studying but should improve for recruitment

Placement Experience:

- Students become eligible for campus recruitment from the 5th semester. - Around 65% of students get placed during campus interviews. - The highest package offered to the BBA students is INR 4 LPA. The average package offered to the students is INR 3 LPA and the lowest is INR 2 LPA. - The top recruiters who visit the companies are Accenture, EY (Ernst & Young), Wipro Technologies LtdHDFC Bank Pvt Ltd, Deutsche Bank, Amazon.com Inc, Concentrix Corporation, Societe Generale, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, etc. - But still, improvement in place of recruitment is highly recommended. - I want to pursue MBA after and want to commit to the business.

As per my knowledge and searching, I came to know that ISHM is giving the highest number of placements as compare to any other colleges in Kolkata. Positive remarks about college, they specifically take care of everyone they call at home if any student is irregular or not serious about his/her study. So everyone attends classes and lectures a minimum of 75% and teachers motivate students for their all-over growth and performance.

Salesian College, Regain your confidence

I pursued my graduation degree from Salesian College, Sonada and did not sit for any entrance exams for my college admission process. After aplying I got a call from the college course's HoD who took a telephonic interview. the cut was 60% approximately and even though I joined in late I was able to join the course.
