Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose B.com because I was interested in accounting and finance and also because I could choose many career paths in the future. we can either choose to do a career or do my higher studies. There is a lot of career opportunities for B.com.The faculty to student ratio is something like 2: 82 and which is not that good teachers don't get that good interaction session as there is a huge number of students. They usually have a fixed syllabus which they try to finish and sometimes you and they go really fast at times. But teachers have a great knowledge of subjects as they have great qualifications. The exams are on the fixed time period and we don't get much of time period to study because we are so well versed with the There is a fixed course plan followed throughout the year which hells us to know an overall knowledge in the point of examination. It's really difficult to score high marks in the examinations

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees hike and it's a reasonable amount itself as compared to other colleges and it's worth of for the overall curriculum and extra curicular. The admission fees 55000 there was a extra amount of 5000 which was for the christ management. As far as I know the fees is reasonable compared to other top colleges in Bangalore.I haven't recieved any scholarships because I was from a general merit but there was financial assistance provided to many students who had lost there both the parents in the pandemic and also there was a extension of time for the payment of full fees.In case if they didn't pay even after that those students hallticket was being blocked and realsed after the payment of fees. Many internship of top companies like Goldman Sachs,De Shaw,Delliote and EY had come for internships but hardly few were able to passout the the exams and there were few as well but very less as compared.

Campus Life

3

Annual fests like darpan, dakash, mun debating societies and many others as well were being conducted by christ University. Many students also bagged many prizes.Since we were into the pandemic our batch couldn't experience that joy and vibes as compared to the previous batches. There is Wi-Fi faculty, projector and well equiped classrooms in campus. There are social groups and many clubs in the campus which we get to work with. There is also social charity which is being conducted by the campus were students work as a teacher and teach poor students and conduct parent teacher meeting and provide them basic amenities which are essential for living. There are also many sports activities in campus after the campus hour many students also get opportunity to go to play many other levels like district and state levels in volley ball, basket ball, throw ball and football. Were students get trannied by their coaches.
