Remarks

The college is good regarding academics and placements. infrastucture is little dissappointing

Most of the faculty members of the department, enriched with decades of experience in guiding internship projects from fortune 500 companies working on the latest technologies, are actively involved in research in the niche fields like Cloud Computing, Mobile Computing, Open CL, Network Security, Data Mining, Image Processing and Software Engineering.

Internships Opportunities

The coursse consist of two 6 months internship, one in the 4th year and another in final semester. companies like oracle, intel, amazon recruit for internship. stipend varied from 10k to 25k depending on the students performance and company

Almost everyone get placed every year. about 20 companies including IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, Global scholar, Amazon, AMD, tcs, infosys and many startups comes for placements. avr package 4-6 lpa

Every year symposiums are conducted for each departments. about all colleges from tamil nadu also from various parts of india participate in these events. cultural symposiums are also conducted yearly.

Fees and Financial Aid

Application for scholarship should be submitted in the prescribed form to the Principal with in 30 days from the date of reopening of the institute or admission of the candidate to the institute. They should submit all the certificates called for, pertaining to the nature of scholarship. No students will be permitted to hold more than one scholarship at a time. The concessions granted are liable to be withdrawn in case of misconduct such as participating in strike, ragging etc.

The exams are based on anna university pattern. exam are conducter in semester basis. labs are frequently used by the students. it wont be much hectic but still very usefull.

From the last previous semester, students can avail themselves of campus interviews. Students who have Harriers are not given opportunities because it's in the companies criteria. Cognizant, Zoho, Infosys, Wipro. Every year at least 10 students get selected. Average is 10,000-15,000 per month 10-15% of students getting placed. I plan to study for competitive exams like UPSC.

Entrance Preview:

Bachelor degree from any recognized University in Science stream with minimum 50% marks for open category and 45% marks for reserved category required for admission. Also, I appeared for an entrance exam conducted at our University Campus. After completing entrance exam, I appeared in personal Interview round. Admissions are based on the qualifying marks in the Entrance.
