IIT Delhi Review

Before appearing for JEE my decision was final that I will start my graduation journey from IIT Bombay or IIT Delhi and I have prepared accordingly. After the cutoff of the list of IIT Delhi was declared I found that I was able to clear the cutoff criteria of IIT Delhi and I immediately filled the admission form from the official website of the college by paying an amount of Rs. 1500. After clearing the JOSAA counselling round I was allotted the seat and I immediately froze it.

IIT Delhi B.Tech program is ranked 2nd and the curriculum is also as per the college standards. The curriculum gives s lots of opportunities for research and project activity. The curriculum gives us a proper insight into the coding technique and the curriculum helps us to understand the importance of computer technology in today's world.

The internship is compulsory and we can opt for the internship after completing the 3 years of our program. The college placement committee plays an important role during the internship as the committee is responsible for inviting the companies and even during the internship program the committee is able to invite good companies. The average stipend for an internship was around Rs. 30000/-.

The placements of the college are very good. The college sets the bar very high for the other IIT college in India for placement. The college has a record of 100% placement and even the college provides good placement for B.Tech. The placement committee plays a crucial role in placement. The college placement committee fully supports us and fully assist us during the placement rounds. The highest package for our batch was around 1.25 CPA and the average package was around 25 LPA. Around 130 companies visited our campus for the college placement drive. The amount of the package depends according to individual skills and academic records and performance in research work.

The college B.Tech program complete average fee is approx 8.50 lakh and we have to pay the fee in instalment. The return on investment is very good as an average salary package is around 20 to 25 LPA. The scholarship is based on merit and scholarship for SC/ST/PWD is also available. The college infrastructure is very well maintained. But it is also the fact that pursuing a B.Tech from such a big institute is not an easy task most of my batchmates missed many events of the college as we were busy completing our assignments and projects. The college library is very good and is the house of many international books. International journals are also available which are very beneficial for our assignments. Confluence, Conclaves, Parivartan, Marketing Fest are the college events and fest but I cannot explain to you about the college events as I have not attended any one of them. The college labs are modern and good.

The hostel is very good. The hostel has all the basics and modern facilities. The rooms are big and ventilated. The rooms are equipped with a basic facility like bed, study table with chair, and almirah for every one of us. The hostel provides us with 24 hours of water supply and hot water during winter, and 24 hours of WiFi facility is also available. The hostel mess food is very good and hygenic. The biggest plus point is that the hostel has a separate study room which is 24 hours open.

The faculty of the college is of PhD level and many faculty research work is published in international journals. The teaching methods of the faculty is very good and simple. The technique is so good that every one of us is properly hooked in class. The faculty of the college is highly qualified and experienced.
