Remarks

The admission process was very balanced and divided in two parts, namely university basis (IKGPTU counseling) and college basis(Direct Counseling). There is a fee waiver scheme too. I would consider the admission process very good and want no change in it

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Computer science engineering as seeing the availability of job opportunities in the future and moreover i also had interest in developing apps. There is a very helpful and supportive faculty of the college and they are very qualified. The teaching method is also very good and informative. The term exams are neither easy nor difficult.

A lot of companies give internships to our college and students actively participate in internship programs. Students get to know a lot in thee programs and make themselves better for getting higher LPA placements

From the 6th semester students become available for college placements. The campus placements rate is 100% in the last 3 years in CSE. The highest package recorded is 16 LPA this year and the average is 10 LPA

There are a lot of scholarships provided by the institutions that are connected to the college. There are other castes and income-based scholarships too which help a lot in making the course easily affordable to students.

Cultural fests tech fests and annual fests are conducted once in a year and they are very entertaining. The library has a vast no of books which we can issue for 14 days. There are a lot of sports clubs and other clubs which conduct a lot of events every month

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

When I'm in NITJ see what I got.

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.

As this college was nearest to my home . It is. Also one the most popular college in Punjab. It is most affordable college . I didn't applied to any other college .
