Nice college

The admission process was decent, one should give the JEE MAIN exam to get admission to any college under IP University, the application process starts right after the deceleration of JEE MAINS final result and the application will be available on IP University official website, you have to register yourself on their official site which charges Rs 1200 and for participating in Counselling process you have to submit Rs 1000 also. overall the admission and counselling process was decent but you might face glitches during the counselling process on their website.

There are several B.tech courses but I opt for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science which is introduced in this session 2021-25 for the very first time along with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I opt for this course because this is modern technology with a bright future and evergreen opportunities. My batch strength is 60, so I can say about faculty: student ratio is decent is nearly 6:60. Faculty members are really good. all the faculty members are P.hd / M.tech / B/tech with really great research works and with a lot of experience. there are two-term exams in one semester like midterm and end term, as far as I know one should study to pass the exam, doesn't matter how hard is to pass or easy.

As you know it is not an IIT/NIT/IIIT, it is a private college in DELHI, so the placement scenario is not that good in this college, the average package is approx 6-8 Ipa (ONLY FOR Computer Science related branch) that's it there is very less placement opportunity for other core branches students and as far as I know companies won't allow core branches student to sit in CS/IT placements. yea a lot of companies visit here but most of the companies are mass recruiters. Amazon visit here but won't offer much good package. so, the only way to get better placements is OFF CAMPUS PLACEMENTS. many of our seniors had made it through OFF CAMPUS PLACEMENTS in big tech giants like GOOGLE, LINKEDIN, AMAZON & MICROSOFT.

our campus is around 50 acres. There are a lot of tech societies / extracurricular societies like dance clubs etc. Dance society - FUNK IN MOTION (MAIT western dance society) they participate in all dance competitions around India. JATAYU- this is the club for the mechanical engineering branch, basically the Jatayu club design and build motor racing cars and they participated in various competitions around India and also they went to AMERICA for a tech competition. GDSC (GOOGLE DEVELOPER STUDENT CLUB) & CSI MAIT club provides you with the opportunity to get interacted with a lot of alumni and seniors and people of the same thinking doing great work in their carrier. These all societies are run by students under professors / HODs supervision.
