Remarks

I have taken admission in ANDC Mathematics (Hons) on the basis of merit in class 12th. I had not given the entrance exam for that. For the merit of four subjects is considered i.e one language and other 3 subjects. They release their admission form on their official website, students have to fill the form by giving correct information and then proceed to payment. The application fee is very nominal about 100rs. So that's the good thing. Now comes the benefits of reservation. Reservation has many benefits in the cutoffs. I belong to the OBC category so I have got the opportunity to get into this college at some low merit.And other categories like SC,ST,PWD acquire much more benefits of reservation. They got the college at a very low score. This admission process is very good. Students can take admission based on merit or exam. But now from this year merit-based admission will not happen Now a common test will be conducted to get the colleges. This is also a good thing.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have taken BSC Mathematics (Hons) in ANDC college. So I had the interest to go into research on mathematics and on its deep applications. I will acquire higher education MSc and Ph.D. after that to go into the research field. Now all the facilities are awesome. They teach very well. But in a semester there were teachers from which we could not connect so some teachers are not upto your mark. But overall faculties are amazing Now exams are conducted timely and in a fair manner. So in terms of conducting exams, it is good.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 15500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The best thing about the college is that the fees are very low just about 15000 for a year which is most affordable with the best teachers and beat college facilities. Now there is not much scope for internship and college placement. Hence in this area, it is not good.

Campus Life

Now fest and cultural programmes are conducted regularly and at a broad level and it's amazing I love it. The college has a big library to get access to books. The library has a very good collection of books and journals Now the classroom is very hygienic and has good facilities. Sports are conducted in the college. There are big playgrounds for us to play in. There are many social groups, platforms created by college students.

Kirori Mal - The way I see it

Placement Experience:

The placements at Kirori Mal College are respectable and are getting better. The fifth semester is typically when students become eligible for campus placements. Numerous well known bussineses like Deloitte, KPMG, EY et. Approximately 50-60% of students are placed through campus drives each year. The average package is approxiamtely 5-7 lakhs per year. After getting the degree I plan on applying for a masters degree in the same field.

The course is good but placement is very bad in the campus. The frequency of exams is 2 hours or 3 hours depends on the credit of that subject. The exam level is of moderate level. We had pass the exam studying 1 week before the exam.

A vibrant college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college

The Life at Ramjas College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.

Aryabhatta College (Delhi University), a new but hustling place

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

ANDC= The most average old school type campus life

Good for science courses but infrastructure and surrounding area is not good

I got admission to this college through cuet. I only applied to colleges of DU. Rather than ANDC I applied to Hansraj college of Delhi University but I did not get admission because my marks did not clear the cut off score of that college as Hansraj college is of North campus and has high cut off score.
