JNU, B.Tech + M.Tech, Computer Science & Engineering

Remarks

Eligibility for this course will be decided by your jee mains performance. The rough idea for CSE is 20-25k rank. Admission will be from JOSSA itself. After finalizing and School will ask you to submit all the necessary documents like mark sheets, domicile, and category certificate if necessary. For the categories like SC and ST course fees is zero. But they have to pay Hostel charges and other minimal charges. For the OBC category they get a 50 percent scholarship on the course fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I was getting a good academic environment. With a chance to explore the real world and improve my personality. Faculties are good and they are experienced. All facilities are highly qualified. In one semester there are 2 midterms and 1 end term. 2nd mid-term is mostly continuous assessment.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Many internship opportunities are provided by the clubs. freelancing works are also assigned to the members. Many seniors have done their internships at big companies like a geek for geeks, IBM, etc. In the future, many other great opportunities will be provided.

Placement Experience

SoE started 4 years ago so there is no pass-out batch. So no placements. But many students are interning at good companies Chegg, geek for geeks, IBM, etc. Placements will start after the passing out of the first batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarship programs for categories. The course fee structure is very affordable. Even the poorest of the poor can afford engineering from JNU, SoE. And this fee structure will either remain stagnant or it will get reduced to lower numbers but will not exceed it.

Campus Life

There are various clubs in SoE. Broadly categorized into 2 groups. One is cultural clubs and the other is Technical clubs. Many events are organized by the clubs on monthly basis. Many workshops quizzes and competitions are conducted by them.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good. Very spacious and comfortable. Equipments provided by the authorities are a bed, a table, a chair, and a locker for individual students. Mess quality is also good. A weekly timetable is prepared and food is served according to it.

Hostel Fee: INR 2900 per year

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

The best campus

I chose this college over other because of very less fee that's some of 200 rs approx and this university having nirf 2 which also make a great change from others. Admission process is first you've to clear cuet then apply for councelling on jnu portal then check result, if you clear the cutoff that you will get the admission letter and the date of admission and on that day you come with the given document in the list and you will get the admission....Read More
