Amazing College

CAT conducted by CUSAT. I got rank 3248 no other option was there for me as i didnt get good rank in JEE or AIEEE. Its too much distance from my home. I live in north east and college is in last part of india.

It was fine every semester almost 8 subjects including labs.math was upto semester 5.now in s7 one paper reduced now having 5subjects with labs,seminar and projects. Paper is of 150 marks out of which 50 is internal taken in college other 100 marks is taken by university CUSAT. I am from batch 2012.now some rules changes abouts marks distribution.

There is nothing like that in my college you have to do urself if u want knowledge. No need of internship in my branch IT. This is not mandatory in case we want to internship college is not giving leave also so in this college administration sucks.

For placement upto now atleast 30 company came and so many got placed. TCS-3.5 lakh almost 250 students got placed wipro-4 lakh, musigma-5lakh were placed scope internationals-4 lakh, amadeous-7lakhe, tcs ap labs-9lakh etc coming on 11th dec.

We have our college fest SATVA, film festivals, sports week, NSS week. Its not big as we have seen in private college and iits. College is also not big enough nd no space as space are captured under the villagers no celebrities invited just previous time some local star who just made bored to us by talking in malyalam 2hr. So we just keep our ear closed nd slept.

Fee is generally ok but here no hostel and due to lack of resources here we have to go a lot distance for any purpose. So almost it takes almost same as we are managing our own north indian food and a culture to live properly here. Fees is 35000 per semestr excluding hostel fees.

Loan facility are there so many students are taking loans for their fees. Scholarship i don't have idea since if scholarship are they are generally for the keralite students.

Almost out of 60 students 25 are girls mostly and rest are boys. We are organising our hostel parties ourselves. So we can do what we want but not late night before 12 have to close everything. Peoples of here are good helpful but they are interfering in others matters.

Can't differntiate since if we are giving regular exams then we have time for preparation. It is just opposite in case of supply if it comes with regular exam time. Exam has generally no problem but results always came late.

Faculty was good but some can't speak frequent english so we are facing problems sometime mainly the faculties are women some having good experiences. Phd holder too very cooperative.
