IIT Delhi Review

IITs and IIMs are some of the best institutions in India. Once you are part of these prestigious institutes your life is totally upgraded and totally changes and moves into a new direction. I also want to be part of IIT and choose IIT Delhi because I am from Delhi and I am quite aware of the placement record of the college 90% of my decision was based on the placement record of the college. The candidate must clear the GATE exam and should have secure 60% in graduation from the concerned department. After clearing the GATE exam candidate has to appear for COAOP counselling to secure their seat in IITs, NITs and other participating colleges. I was just focused and wanted to be part of IIT College.

The curriculum of the college is a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge with research activity. The curriculum of the college is according to the latest industrial norms and is properly synced with the changing industrial scenario. After looking at the curriculum of the college I felt that to be part of IIT Delhi was one of my best decision because the curriculum not only gives an insight into the technological field but also helps to understand the corporate world working technique.

The student is eligible for an internship after completing the first year. The college placement committee is so helpful that they guide and during the internship process so that we are able to be part of the good company according to the level of our interest and program. The stipend varies from company to company that ranges from Rs. 35000/- to Rs. 2,00,000/-. During our batch, few of the students received pre-placement offers during their internship program.

The placement record of the IIT Delhi is unmatched in short uncomparable from other institutes. The college placement committee is very hard work keeps the track record of students and guide them throughout the placement drive. The college has a 100% placement record. The highest package for batch went up to 75 LPA and the average package was around 35 LPA. I also received the package of 40 LPA from Google. Few students also received pre-placement offers during their internship program. Companies like Microsoft, Intel, Goldman Sachs, Intel, Oracle, Tata Projects, EXL Services, ICICI Bank, HCL, Wells Fargo, and IQVIA visited our campus during the placement drive. Overall 25 international placements were also made from which I was also the lucky one.

The college provides a scholarship program for their merit students and a scholarship for SC/ST/PWD students is also available. An education loan facility is also available and the college admission department will fully guide you through the loan process. The campus is spread over 310 acres of land. the college organises a number of fest and events like Confluence, Conclaves, Parivartan, Marketing Fest, and sports competitions are very much popular among the students. The events and the fests that are organized in the college are organized by the student-led cells. The college library is full of lots of books and international journals are also available. The seniors and college administrative staff is very helpful and friendly.

The rooms of the hostel are big enough to accommodate 3 to 4 students. the hostel is well maintained. The hostel provides all the basic facilities like a Gym in every building of the hostel, common room, separate study room, game room. The hostel is also equipped with 24 hours high-speed WiFi internet connectivity. The hostel mess food is great the menu is very vast. The hostel provides all kinds of facilities according to the requirements of the students.

The college faculty of the college is best. They are not only experts in their field but are friendly in behavior and motivate students to take part in research work and extracurricular activities as they believe that students' overall personality improvement is important.
