Review for IIM Ranchi

I applied for the MBA program when I got 99+ in CAT. I did MBA in Marketing here. The application form is available on the website and the application fee varies from 1000 to 1200. You need to have a bachelor's degree score of more than 50 percent. I had to go through a GD and a PI as well. The admission process was simple and smooth.

I am doing MBA in Marketing which is a 2 years course with 6 trimesters and exams in every trimester. Exams are case-based and require logical thinking to pass. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:15. The faculty members have considerable research and industry experience. We get plenty of opportunities to connect with our professors. You can also pick and choose from a variety of electives to study.

Companies like Asian Paints, Pidilite, Tata, Bosch, Sun Pharma, Cipla Health, HSBC, HDFC, ICICI Lombard, Ultratech, Titan Watches, RIL, RPG Group, Samsung were among the top companies that took part in the process. Almost 100% of the batch get placed in roles like equity research, Market research, banking, IT, Product management, education, etc. The average stipend is around 1.2-1.3 lakhs and the highest is around 4 lakhs.

We have a dedicated placement body known as the Corporate Relations and Placement Committee that handles all the placement work. The average package goes around 23-24 lakhs and the highest is around 50+ lakhs. Organizations such as McKinsey, Accenture, Tata, Bain, Deloitte, etc provide roles in sales, research, banking finance, consulting, and IT analytics. 100% placements are achieved in IIM Ranchi.

MBA in IIM Ranchi costs nearly 16-17 lakhs in total including books, tuition, labs, and all other expenses. Also, you can pay the fees in six payments every term. You can also avail of hostel facilities here. The institute provides a number of government and private scholarships based on your merit scores and family annual income.

Agon Rush is the name of the festival which the clubs and committees organize together in the month of February or March. The university library is a treasure for all the books on any topic. When it comes to committees, we have clubs and committees for marketing, finance, dance, singing, sports, etc.

CAT is the exam that one must take before applying to any IIM. A percentile score of 90+ in every section and a 95+ at least a considerable score for IIM Ranchi. Following the examination, the chosen candidates will be contacted for a Personal Interview in which questions related to academics, work experience, your hometown will be asked.
