College Review

Two Times in a year college takes admission for Ph.D. Gate qualification is necessary for filling the form. The first college takes a written exam and after that they conduct an interview. The final result was disclosed in the college site. They didn't disclose the cutoff of admission only provide the name of selected students.

I chose environmental engineering because of saves the environment and improves the water, wastewater and air pollution from our society. In this college, have sufficient faculty. All professors are PhD qualified and 10 year of teaching experience. After 3 months take mid-semester and after 5 month end semester examination conducted by college.

There is no campus selection so I don't know any company names. But MHRD provides a stipend for PhD scholar during course time. Project works are done under the guide and they help us to complete the work and get the knowledge from work.

For the Ph.D. student, there is not any campus selection. After completion of Ph.D. course, I will join the college for teaching purposes. If I will write or published 2 or 3 national papers during my PhD then it will be very helpful for my future plan.

Fees structure is average, nearly 26000 college fees and 23000 mess and hostel fees per semester. They provide 31000 stipend for PhD student per month. For PhD student there are no campus selection after completing the course.

The infrastructure of nit Rourkela is very very safe and healthy. The room in a hostel is also clean and provides healthy mess food. For sports, college provide all sports and places to conduct the sports safely.

The room in a hostel is clean. Mess is also clean and safe for COVID. They provide proper food and change every day. They select a hostel president to provide a mess menu. Hostel registration is done during the admission process.
