Remarks

I am selected in this college on the basic of jee main all India rank through online counseling and got it branch. The counseling fee is 2500 and if you go in the spot round then 45000. There is 3 round in the counseling process and one spot round.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good and also one and two teachers are very good and all are average. The teaching method is overall good. Is exam held in proper time and if you studying carefully there is no difficulty to pass the semester exam.

Internships Opportunities

It depends upon you how you eagerly want an internship if you do your work honestly with the good proper coding skill you can take internships. A company like Wipro, Tata, American express there are many more.

Placement Experience

We can say that campus placement is average if you have good grades with skills you have a better chance to be get selected. 80 to 85 percent of students get selected on campus with an avg pack of 4 to 5 lakhs this is different for different branches.

Fees and Financial Aid

Approx. 4 lakh for four years not including hostel fee. Yes, there is a scholarship for sc st and also for bc category. Campus placement is good but it can be better. The overall fee is affordable to middle-class families.

Campus Life

The campus is not very large. But there is sufficient thing you want. There is club for drama, dancing, singing, etc. Also sports club for a different sport. There is also a good library with lots of good books. There is a club for coding name Algoders run by seniors.

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

True experience of a SLIET Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.

Peaceful and green campus of PUSSGRC

Firstly I have applied for Himachal Pradesh Technical Univeristy, Hamirpur, before joining Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri regional Centre, Hoshiarpur. I got CSE there, but left because the placement scenario is not as I expected, as it is a new college and still progressing, while UIET, PUSSGRC has a good placement scenario of 70-80% placements and has a good reputation. Admission to this college is on the basis of JEE Main exam and by appling JAC Chandigarh Counselling.
