Remarks
while I am taking admission here, one thing is clear for me that I have to study computer science otherwise I have many more ways to choose my carrier. when I cleared my JEE exam I was looking for a government institute with computer science engineering, after taking part in many counselling finally came here through JAC Chandigarh counselling, the staff, and professor of this college is very supportive and always available to help you, if you have a JEE rank within 100,000 I think you should consider this college as an option to pursue your B.Tech in computer science or information technology, for other branches I would not recommend this college because placement opportunities in this college for other branches is very low, but if you opt CS/IT here you are in a safe zone.in this college, you will get tech community and many clubs providing you a lot of exposers, as well as this institute, offer you an NCC course if you are interested in defence services.
Course Curriculum Overview
as I have said earlier, I was looking for a government college with computer science engineering at a low cost, and here I got it. the faculty of the college is awesome and supportive but you have to work at your side to find the best output teachers can only guide you. in my batch, there are 57 students in CSE, for each subject, there is a good staff also we have a teacher as a class mentor as well as to other faculty for the office-related query. the faculty members are well qualified in their own subject some of them is a Ph.D. holder and most have master's degree, the teaching method is very interactive and funny. there are two mid-semester tests and a final exam in each semester; out of two one best mid-semester test will consider as your final result.
Placement Experience
at the last of the 6th semester, your journey of placement will be begun, Infosys, Wipro tata and many other companies visit here for placement, the average package is 5-6 lakh and the highest on campus is 12 lakhs if you are in CSE or it easily you will get a place with an average package of 5 lakh. I am a placement-oriented guy
Fees and Financial Aid
In your first semester, you have to pay Rs 99235, as your tuition fee and also almost 5000 as your exam fee in a year; there are scholarship options for all students except the general category. You have to pay 40,000 at the time of admission as your seat acceptance fee rest of the fee will be asked later.
Campus Life
I am a fresher till now, so I have not any idea regarding this because of covid pandemic all the academic curriculum is sifted online where these things are difficult to access, although there is a playground in our college and many clubs in online mode all these things are useless.
Hostel Facilities
As soon as the college will be offline, I will come here and give my honest review, till now I have no idea regarding this. I have not any intention to misguide you, but I can tell you about the hostel charges i.e. 30,000 per year.
