Remarks

It is a well-known central university with a cheap tuition price. The examination form is made available in February, the exam is held in May, and the results are announced in June.I received a counseling letter in the mail. I was chosen after counseling. I scored an OBC AIR of 10th and a general AIR of 56.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty was outstanding; they had a wealth of expertise. They are all highly qualified, having completed a Ph.D. at a top institution and a postdoctoral fellowship abroad. There was a mid-semester paper worth 20 points, followed by a semester paper of 70 points, and this cycle repeated twice a year. The paper was a little more difficult. However, passing the paper is simple.

The institute offers a dissertation as well as an internship, however there is no placement in the MSc-biochemistry program. To be admitted to the P.hD program, we must first undergo a fellowship (JRF ).

Fee Structure And Facilities

The price is relatively minimal, with a monthly hostel fee of around 500 rupees and a monthly mess fee of around 2000 to 3000 rupees. The semester fee is approx. 2700 to 3000. Yes, scholarships are available for youngsters whose fathers' salaries are low.

Campus Life

BHU student life is lively, with several festivals, events, seminars, sports, and concerts organized by the institution. The BHU library has a large collection of books, research articles, and magazines. I attended the 8th International Translational Cancer Research Conference and attended a number of seminars.

Exam Structure

It is based on entrance examination name PET for MSc- Biochemistry. I given in 2018 and score 201/300.

Admission

I had to take a written test, and the questions were mostly difficult, with a few moderate and easy questions thrown in for good measure. Cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, ecology, evolution, genetics, and methods are among the subjects covered in the exam. To pass the test, you just need to study the entire BSc course and read Pathfinder.

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

good exposure for kids to grow and flourish. Good student crowd. People from all different backgrounds are there and students are mostly smart and are willing to learn new things. Overall good exposure for students
Good cafeteria will reasonable food and both north and south India food options

Very pricey fee structure, fee could have been a little less
Attendance policy is very strict and follows mandatory 80% attendance
Placements are not that great as off now

I Would say that's it's average. Like other colleges only. However one good thing is we have one or two elective paper almost every semester in which we can choose particular subjects according to our interest.

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU.
