Remarks
IIT college has good number of selection in placement in IT sectors as well as in core jobs. My main motive to get into IIT is this only. Other factors like getting envolved in different events apart from academics is also a great part for me to come here. The campus life as well, with such bright mind students and to live along and sharing knowledge is the best part that any learner want to have.
Course Curriculum Overview
Earth Science is wide field to learn about our own environment our solar system and the whole universe. And how it all is connected to eachother. These field not only help student to excel in academics but also gives the potential idea to boost economics of the country. These field deals with Rocks, Minerals, Petroleum, Meteorites. It also have huge job opportunities as well. Faculties here are so knowledgable and there way to teach is very different. They provide us the real life scenario and discuss the different possibilities to tackle it and to learn about it.
Placement Experience
Placement and job oppurtunities are relatively high from non-IITs college which is a plus point for us. whether it be core jobs or IT sector jobs. more than 300 companies come to campus for placements.
College Events
Since I am unable to reach campus till now so I cant explain about the campus. However, I went there to take a look and was a quite nice experience with the infrastructure and the facility available. Library, Labs, Playfield, Gym, Hostels, OAT are all the best.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is comparitively high. Well all facilities are included in this fee only. Earlier IITs fees were low which is one of the reason for many talented student to join. Financial Assitance is not good. Almost every student have to take loan (who wants) from banks to pay fees. campus jobs are absolutely great, but in my field the need of hugher studies are must.
Campus Life
Campus Infrastructure so nice. Even the build is 30 to 40 years back but it still attracts heavily. For sports we have stadium for different Games, we have gyms, swimming pool. We have Aircraft and Take off road, we have high connectivity wi-fi, we have differents labs with almost all equipments available.
Admission
There was only written test. JEE Advanced entrance examination is conducted to get admission in IITs. Topics were the Syllabus of 12th Board PCM stream. Since the questions asked are much fundamental based and vast and touches college level type concepts I prepared according to that.
