Remarks

Vardhman Mahavir Medical College is a popular for its Medicine and Nursing programmes. The eligibility is 10+2 in science stream including biology with a minimum of 50% marks. Admission to the MBBS program is based on the marks obtained in the NEET-UG rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

The MBBS and MD from the same institute will be helpful and thus I joined here. The curriculum is vast with subjects from areas of Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical and Clinical level. There is a one year mandatory internship program at the last year of MBBA course.

Class Size: 170Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Placement Experience

There is no direct placements. But the pass outs students will get sure jobs in Hospitals, Clinics, Research Labs, Medical Colleges, Pharmaceutical Companies, Biotechnology Companies, Nursing Homes etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for MBBS is INR 1,98,000. The faculties are well trained and provides high quality of medical education. The last year internship will be usually in the same college itself. During the on campus jobs are with stipends also.

Campus Life

The neavy acadmeic schedules are there. Anyway campus time is also good. The facilities are VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital complex with speciality and super speciality wings. The Library has a huge collection of 91 International and 31 Indian journals, more than 20,000 books in medical education, nursing and laboratory technology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like my course because it's a combination of both food technology and English...so that's what keeps it interesting. The curriculum is great with practical classes that are fun and we learn new things. But I wish there were more. Exams take place every six months and they're not that difficult

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Honestly, i would rate the course curriculum 8/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensive. At first I wanted B. Com but then one of my Aunt inspired me to take Economics hons instead . It provides a solid foundation for practical applications by blending the theoretical concepts for the real world applications

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

I am a medical student but i am an average student in studies so i choose the pharmacy . And i think its a good choice for me . The teachers helps me alot in studies and i also performed good in acadmics . But the main things which helps me is my training period. Here the real experience starts . I think teachers should be friendly with students or gentle .. they are extremely strict that students doesnt feel to interact with them i think they should improve here. We have weakly tests , monthly sessionals ,projects and that thing helps us alot for the main exams

I was confused between MAMC VMMC(my clg) and AIIMS . AIIMS i couldn't qualify . Now between vmmc and mamc . Both are great colleges but vmmc has better infrastructure as it is a newer clg . Hostel facilities are better in vmmc . Its has more PG quota comparatively....Read More
