It is best I can ever have. Although have to struggle at some point, but afterall it is very well maintained.

I appeared for JEE Advanced 2016 secured an AIR of 3275. I wanted to pursue CSE so according to my AIR it was the best option for me.

Course Structure is very nice. For all the first year students, they have to study all th course on a basic level, from 2nd year onwards respective courses starts for every student according to their branch. And Course is well structured too. Every semester's course is available on the local network of the college.

I don't have much idea for stipend But every year pre-final year of students go for internships to very reputed companies like Samsung R&D, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft offer internship to bright students.

Placements are very good here. And after declared as an IIT the scenario of placement is much better. Earth science branches have pretty darn good placements scenario. Branch Like CSE and MNC are offered good packages. In year 2016 Amazon, Adobe, CIL and many more reputed companies visited the campus. And the highest package offered was by adobe that of 38 LPA.

The Techno-Management Fest of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad - Concetto is a 2 days fest. Every year Coordinators engage so much of themselves to make it a big success. Alumini Reunion - Basant. It is the time when people who passed from here 50 years back come to the college and share thier experience. Cultural Fest - Srijan. This fest is grand daddy of all. Participation come from across the country for various events.

Fee waiver is provided to these students. Total accommodation is free here, but annual mess charge of 30k have to be paid if one wants to live in hostel.

Well, there are plenty of scholarships are offered by the college for students who are from socially backward classes and whose family income is less. Merit-cum-means scholarship is provided to GEN/OBC candidates whose family income is less than 6 LPA.

Hostel Facility is good. But rooms are bit conjusted in some hostels. Each room is shared by two students of same year. There are no fees for accommodation in hostels but extra charge for mess have to be paid. Food is reasonably good. Daily healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided by hostel mess.

Alumini network is exceptionally well, all I can say is you won't find anything better than this in any college of India. Senior-Junior interaction is one of the best thing in the college Seniors are so helpful here. This is one of the best thing of our college.

Working days are very tight. In first year you have practicals fo 8 in the morning to 12 noon and after that. Classes from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm. After 5:30 you can either join a sport or do any extra curricular activity or just sit in your room and embrace your virtual life.

Faculty here is pretty Good and some are exceptionally well. But you have to rely on yourself for most of the times. Although they will support you if you are doing something good. And about the qualification of the faculty, you can read the CV of our director on the official site of the college and yes it is 24 pages long. So you can't doubt on it.
