Remarks

Who is not want to read in a good college? Jagannath Barooah College is a prestigious college of Assam and India. And the college is located near our house. The college has excellent performance in Assam's education field and many successful person passed out from this college. This inspired me to get admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course faculty is good. Though other colleges of Assam started CBCS course from last year but our college started it in 2016 because it is a autonomous college. The course is pretty but little bit landy or long. I can't say that one of our faculty is good because all are equally good.

Placement Experience

In last two years minimum 100+ students get jobs in campus recruitment programs in our college. But due to covid 19 this year college couldn't able to organize campus recruitment. But every year it is organized and many multinational companies comes.

College Events

In the experience of last three years our campus life is always memorable. We always have mehfil in college campus with our friends. Our college is also inspired us to develop our co curricular activities. For that from last year our college started organizing a annual fest Anirvana where all events and programs included.

Hostel Facilities

Days scholar. Thogh I am a days scholor I used spend some time with my fellow mates in hostel. There's the most peaceful atmosphere. .

Placement Experience:

The students who are appearing for the 7th semester end term examination are eligible for the campus placement drive , eligibility varies as per the companies eligibility criteria, main factors are CGPA score of the particular student. There are many companies who visited the campus for placement drive but the main companies who visited for campus placement drive are : NRL( Numoligorh Refinery Limited) ,ONGC( oil natural gas corporation) etc , the highest package offered was 24 lpa by NRL and the offer was got by 8 students and the average package of our college is 7lpa approx

Nothing influenced my decision to choose this course. I just wanted to choose this course for fun, to be honest. the curriculum rarely prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits but whenever it does it would be very beneficial for the students. Held frequent inspections in the college so that they can improve themselves and the teaching method should be in a friendly and more comprehensive way. The exam timings are perfect along with the perspective of their difficulty level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, nothing specific has influenced me in the decision to choose this course that is BCOM as most of these student after passing shoes, so I also opt to BCOM. Well, the curriculum does not fully prepare the students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. They does not provide any practical knowledge or any kind of internship to the students for the real world. Well, according to me, they should provide some internship or something related to practical knowledge. This improvements are very necessary. The frequency and timing of exams is very low like within four months the university tries to complete the whole semester, and it's very hard to complete the whole syllabus within just four months.

A Dream - JAGANNATH BAROOAH UNIVERSITY.

Yes, I actually applied in Tezpur university in Bachelor's in English as it's one of my biggest dream to study in it. But my application got rejected , actually not rejected, when we had completed our 12th , there are as lot's of competition among students and the Mark's they obtain was much. So in Tezpur university the cutoff mark was approximately 93. As a result of which I've unable to get the admission. In our university, the admission process is simple. Firstly the student who wish to apply, must have to visit Samarth education portal, there they have to given the required details with their documents. After they've selected, our respected team will call them regarding admission.
