Remarks

Excellent environment for study. Also a well known college. One of my teachers recommend that college for doing honours from there. All the requirments are available there. Well placement arrangement.

Course Curriculum Overview

Academic and faculty facilities are very good. Teachers are co-operate with the students. They are very helpful. Laboratory and library facilities are well developed. Books in library and laboratory tools are always available.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 8400 per year

Placement Experience

As I'm a physiology student so I can tell about our department. Well placement available for students. Well known companies and Hospitals are associated with the college. As per merit they placed the students in their companies.

College Events

Cultural part of the college is excellent. We celebrate all the festivals very well. All the students have to participate in each programm. Students arrange festivals and college social finely. But the security systems are very poor.

Campus Life

Sports and NCC arrangements are also available. Each of the students from every department have a to participate in sports. Almost 50-60 students are finely seated in library. Wi-fi connection also available.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel seats are few in number and rooms are too small for 3 students. PG are available near to college. Rooms are okay. But the worst thing is the food quality and security system is almost not available.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
