Remarks

I had got admission through the Entrance exam and also an 80% cutoff mark in my 10+2. I visited the college to get the admission form. I belong to the general caste so no special benefits were availed by me.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I had an interest in programming since high school. The faculty-student ratio is somewhat like 1:10. The teachers are well qualified and also maintain friendly relations with students for them to feel free to share stuff.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 324000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Wipro and cap gemini offer internship training to students and also recruit them with a very sufficient starting package if the students are really dedicated to the course. I hope to get placed as well.

Placement Experience

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement. They were offered a monthly package of rs 30000 as well which i guess is quite sufficient for a bachelor's degree. I plan to pursue MCA Degree after my graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

My course i.e. BCA charged a package of 324000 for three years. I am in my second year as of now but as heard from seniors, mostly 70 %of the students get placed. Companies like Wipro, cap Gemini offers job to students they find eligible.

Campus Life

They organize an annual fest where students from different colleges participate. The library is a really refreshing place for students stressed with assignments. It offers thousands of books to students. The campus also has a basketball court, football court, swimming pool, table tennis court for Students.

- The BCA cirrcuam at THE HERITAGE ACADEMY covers fundamental programming, Database management, and web development which are essential for a career in IT. - The syllabus is moderately relevant but some topics feel outdated. While programming and project based learning help in skill building more industry oriented course like AI, cloud computing, and Data science should be include. - Areas for improvement 1.more hands on training and internship opportunity should be introduced 2.Some subject focus too much on theory rather than practical application 3.Advanced technologies and industry trends should be integrated into the syllabus. Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA provides the students with theoretical knowledge and practical experience that helps them to go for various job possibilities in the sphere of computer application from handling projects to complex programming. A BCA degree prepares the students to deal with anything and everything. The student teacher ratio is 1:20. The teachers are very well. They always treat you like a friend. The student teacher bond is very good. They are highly qualified (P.hd /m.tech). The term exam is always on time even all the CA exams are always on time. University provides an Id and password where he/she can see their marks/ date of examination. The difficulty level is moderate not too easy / not too hard.

Remarks:

We have got good faculties. The teachers are very much friendly and helpful. Besides class one can get teachers guidance anytime. They help us with the upcoming trends. The environment is really good. The seniors are very nice and helpful. It has got two basketball court two football grounds.

I applied to Jadavpur University through their entrance exam, however i was not selected there due to my low scores in their entrance exam.
