Eligibility is 12th pass with securing minimum 50% marks and have studied Mathematics. The application form process is online. You have to go on jmicoe website and register yourself after that you have to log in with your email and then you can apply for any course you want. The application fee is 750? and the application form is generally available in May or June. OBC/ST, Jamia internal, women, and PWD reservation you can claim in Jamia. The admission process is offline and slow, this should be online as many students come far from Delhi.
Course Curriculum Overview
Being a Science student, Mathematics is my first preference, it is applied Mathematics which means you can learn Mathematics as well as its applications. The mathematics department is near the university polytechnic and central canteen. The building is good and well structured. The student and teacher ratio is 8:1. Teachers are Highly qualified and experienced with having a doctorate in the concerned field. They teach us by books, almost all teachers provide us notes but few of them suggest we make notes by ourselves. Assignment submission every month and after completing the semester exams are Conducted by Department. practicing maths problems that help definitely to pass the Examination.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike policy is null. 7800 per year fees do not change every year. Cost of the study is expensive as you will live in Delhi so. and the university has very few hostel seats this means you have to rent a room. Jamia Teacher Association scholarship, Aazmi scholarship, women Scholarship are provided by the university and besides them, students can apply government scholarships such as NSP, state scholarships, etc. I haven't applied yet any scholarships.
Campus Life
Miraas an inter University cultural fest and Talimi mela on the foundation day are commonly known as well Department of Engineering Conduct itself many technical and social fest. Books are easily available, once you get your college id you can get the books in Dr. Zakir Hussain Library. almost Every classroom is air-conditioned and well managed. one Classroom can attend 100 students at a time. Jamia has a sports complex in which many indoor and outdoor games are available. Jamia plays a big role in sports. I know only one social group named Mathforgeeks Jamia which is available on Instagram and belongs to Mathematics students.
