Remarks

On the internship part, I would like college should focus on because that's what matters when looking for a job. So help students to get internships in companies. Other things like the staff are very good in Mechanical Department. Senior teachers with good skills and experience are there.

Course Curriculum Overview

We used to have 2 Semesters per year and 4 unit tests of 30 marks per subject which were converted to 15 marks and on basis of that we used to get internal marks and the final calculation was like 30 marks from the two-unit test + semester exams marks.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 134000 per year

Placement Experience

For mechanical placements were from a few companies like metlok, TAL, Reliance, and others were Information Technology companies only. Comparative to Mechanical and civil campuses YCCE has a good campus for IT.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I got the seat in college via centralized admission process so I was eligible for a scholarship from the government for the OBC category that was forty thousand so after applying for the scholarship 40 thousand used to get reduced from total fees.

The college has a good library. With all necessary books related to our subjects technology. We have an online learning facility also available there you can use it all this is included in our fees only. The college has a spacious library.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. I applied to Ramdeobaba, G.H.Raisoni , Sipna, YCCE. Got confirmed admisssion for all the colleges except Ramdeobaba. YCCE offers better teaching and placements as compared to other colleges in this list. I got rejected in Ramdeobaba due to the cut-off percentage being too high and me not being able to fullfil it.
