Remarks

Eligibility: Having reasonable work experience helps a lot. The diversity is decent in terms of educational background and gender. The admission in 2021 was done on the basis of the CAT scores followed by shortlisting and interviews that last for about 10 to 15 minutes. The PI panelists were very professional. The admission process that followed after that could be a bit better. The deadlines set for documents verification seemed unreasonable.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1 faculty for every 15 students. The faculty is very knowledgeable and helpful. Each of them has done a PhD from reputed institutes. The term exams were based on the practical application of concepts. The exam demands a thorough understanding and practice of the concepts. The difficulty can be said to be moderate to high.

Internships Opportunities

Yet to commence. The company I am placed in is Jio Creative Labs. The stipend is not disclosed yet. The Internship will begin from April and will last for 2 months. The accommodation should be managed by self.

Placement Experience

The summer internship process starts at the end of the first trimester and finals at the end of the 4th trimester. The companies that come for placements are from diverse domains. The average and median stipends has increased significantly.

Fees and Financial Aid

The financial assistance part is well taken care of for the students in need. The overall cost to study can be considered as moderate to high. The average stipend is about 30000 to 40000 for the summer internship.

Campus Life

I have not been to campus yet. The mode of eductaion is online. The sports and other activities are all done online mainly over a zoom call. The new campus is almost ready for complete use. The infrastructure seems really good, though I am yet to see it physically.

Interview Experience

I only face an interview which was conducted by 2 panelists. Both of them were over 40 and very senior. The questions mainly revolved around the work experience, past education and since I was interested in entreprenurship so a detailed discussion about that as well. There was no specail effort in terms of preparing for the interviews. I mainly focused on revising some concepts I learnt during my undergrad and some typical interview questions.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

Perks of cracking IIM, Nagpur

Apart from IIM, Nagpur I applied for NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO and other IIMs too. I converted IIM Vishakhapatnam, IIM Trichy, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Ranchi, NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO AIR 14th. Remaking of Career - IIM Nagpur - 9th Best IIMs out of Best B- Schools in Country

The admission Process at my time was full of options. There was a CAP - Common Admission Process for 11 IIMs which were mostly 2nd Generation and 3rd Generation IIMs apart from IIM Nagpur, IIM Visakhapatnam, and IIM Amritsar. Eligibility of the course can be done only through CAT which is handled by the IIMs. Once my CAT scores came out, I applied to the college through CAT on the college's website. Once I cleared the cut-offs specified by the college, I received a mail to fill out the SOP and application.
