I am through the 2BG category. I have got admission under kcet government quota Through kea counseling I have got admission through 2nd round. There were reservations based on Many factors you need to refer kea website for that

I chose this course because I wanted to do business in the software industry as I want to start my own business in the software field we won't have to invest much money to start a business and the software industry is at its boom right now

From 5th or 6th sem, i think So many reputed companies visit our college Like IBM, Wipro, Sap, Samsung, Apple, Uber, Infosys, TCS And many more So many people get multiple offers and many go to higher studies abroad Almost 100% of students were placed

I haven't got any scholarship in 1st year But I haven't got alumni association scholarship in the second year I am grateful for that I have got 10k from the alumni association department of the ms Ramaiah college

There are many social groups like groups for Kannada-speaking people. A deca club called the department of extracurricular activities and all. We have an entrepreneurship development club We have a sports club, a Dance club Etc.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

This was the college of my choice as it was comparatively closer to my home, and other alumni from this college had informed me about its merits.
