Vinay Gupta's Review On Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College - [SGTB], New Delhi

Every thing is good because I'm good in my self. But one bad thing I struggled with is the timing of my college. It was evening college at the time. But now it's a morning college, and I'm happy with this.

For admission in this college and course, I just clear my 12th class examination from C.B.S.E. board. In that I scored about 87% in total and my best for aggregate is about 89%, including maths. I opted for this course because to learn advance accounting and taxation to manage my business.and to mayer in this I further complete my M.B.A.(f) degree also.

Course was very good and the faculty is also. But since then the commerce course has been changed upto various advance levels.

At my time of studying, the college doesn't provide any internship. But now the college has started it from past 5-6 years, as per my knowledge.

Placement after the course is good as some of my batch members are placed in various high level companies with a salary package of about upto 15lacs p.a. Lost of few are as :Harish in TCS, Tarun in HDFC BANK, Rajiv in Maruti, Aarti in ICICI BANK, Rajni in RELIANCE FINANCE, etc. I have my own business.

First of all a freshers party, the very first event in my college. Then, electron campaign and party from winning team. Annual function in December, filed by new year party. Various other events of sports, quiz, debate, talent hunt, etc also arranged by faculty, university, and students.

Fees was very nominal at that time only about Rs3500/- p.a.But now it increases upto Rs 25000/- per semester. Hostel facility is not available at my college, pune should manage a room of its own in rent in near by houses. Food is ok in canteen, but only snacks, not a complete meal.

I don't know anything about loan. But various scholarships are offered through university.

Gender ratio is about equal, did not notice much. Students parties are very common, we arrange funds from our course and batch and named it commerce party. Politics has its boom only at the time of dusu election.

Most of the senior students are still active to help the new comers. Alumni is very helpful, except one or two, who are involved in admission process.

Some faculty members also changes from time to time but still they are very good and consist most of the lecturers of my time.
