Yes, a pdf or video instruction of all the procedures could be sent beforehand, this could make the admission process faster and more efficient. The college and course allotment was done using JOSSA.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had 4 quizzes, 1 midsem, 1 endsem for every course. they followed a relative grading system. Quizzes take place once in 2 weeks and the difficulty of quizzes depended on the lecturers, some lectures set the paper hard.

Internships Opportunities

Kameleon Technologies, the field of AI + UX, a stipend of Rs. 3000-4000. Graphic Design Intern, Rs. 3000-4000. 4-Weeks Total Hands-On Live Industrial / Professional Training Program(LABVIEW) By National Instruments Innovation Center.

Placement Experience

From the 9th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The list of recruiters and package details are available on the institute website (under placement cell). About 70 percent of students were placed this year. I plan to get a job after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is high for the OBC, and general category, but was low for SC, DASA, and ST categories. There are many scholarship schemes, many students have been benefited. All the available schemes are listed in the library for the students to read and choose.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is really good, we have many clubs. We have Samgatha (cultural event) every odd semester and intra IIIT sports events every even semester. We also participate in sports and cultural activities conducted on other campuses.

Hostel Facilities

LAN port is available in every room, we have a good quality meal every day, we have special menu once in two weeks. The hostel registration process is done at the hostel office. Everyone has to stay in a hostel, pg can opt if we request permission from Dean.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Exploring SNSCT in my POV

Placement Experience:

For campus placements students of the 4th year or 7th semester are the eligible ones. Multiple companies like zoho,apple,TCS,CTS, accenture etc have come and multiple small companies too. But the intake for the big and reknown MNCs were low from abt 2-3 candidates only.the placement here is 100% but the companies may vary.My future goal is to go for a government official stream after I finish my masters abroad.

College with good environment, teaching and placements

Placement Experience:

On doing 6th semester companys are coming for placements. But most of the companys come in the 7th semester. There is a lot of companies come here like Embedur, Honeywell,Caterpillar,Zoho,Tcs, Accenture,Hcl,Ltimindtree,Cts,etc.. Around 75-85 percentage of students got offer. The Highest package is 20lpa amd lowest is 3.36lpa. I have to go to IT company for work.

I applied to NIT CALICUT NIT SURATKAL, NIT TRICHY. For my trial round i got nit suratkal for EEE. But i shifted it to down and kept iiitdmk up..I chose this as it was the only college with Smart Manufacturing. Course and i was intrested in the way the curriculum was set including Cs,ece,eee Nd mechanical.As my jee score was not great to enter cse courses in nit calicut i got rejected there.
