Remarks

You should 12th pass and JEE mains qualified and you should apply for JAC Chandigarh counseling separately. Then there will be document verification if you qualify the cutoff criteria and there are reservation benefits for further information check the website.

Course Curriculum Overview

Chemical engineering is kinda unique and has a lot of demand that's why I chose this course. The teachers are well qualified and there are proper labs and equipment. Exam difficulties are moderate

The department provides almost every student with an internship. The internships may be at refineries etc. Also you can apply for internships on your own. The department provides students with both paid and unpaid internships

Almost everyone gets placed and the department also provides students with internships.The average package for Chemical is about 6LPA and also you can do research if you want to do further studies. Companies like ExxonMobil,UOP Honeywell, Reliance and many others come for incampus placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very low that is 20000 per annum for Chemical Engineering and there are scholarships for deserved candidates and the placement is almost 100% and also there are internship programs for students and the average package is also very good.

Campus Life

Since the college is located in Panjab University is in sector 15 of Chandigarh.Also, there are so many fests organized in PU. The University also has AC Joshi library and UG ground so you have everything you need.

Hostel Facilities

There are 9 boys and 10 girls hostel and the hostel fees are also very low that's about 12K per annum and the food in mess is also very good and there's variety too. The registration process is available on PU website.

Pec...The best college in chd

Placement Experience:

This college has decently good packages both the average package and median packages as well as almost 80 percent studnets are placed before the 4th year ends...if I talk about my branch the median was 11 lpa and almost 90 students were palced out of 120 in 2024

My review of PEC Chandigarh

Course Curriculum Overview:

For improvement in teaching methods, they can go digital, like using smartboards, or use more practical teaching methods, or maybe just improve the way of teaching simply. Teaching methods here really need upgrades, mostly students here have to rely on youtube when exams come near.

Pec is still worth it

Placement Experience:

The placements have been lowered by 10-20% recently, but they are getting better. You will get a job if you manage cgpa above 7 and are decent with your skills, but then don't dream for 20lpa + jobs, you need to work upon yourself in silence to get 25-50 lpa packages and they do happen in our colleges, highest package in electrical 2024-25 was 52 lpa and in ece cse they had 61 lpa. Companies start coming in 3rd year for internships, only 10% manage to get intern in 3rd year, companies like microsoft, atlassian, flipkart, mercedes, jp morgan etc. they do come. Placement perecentage is like 75-80% in electrical and it is very low in civil (around 40-50%), in cse it is like 90% or even higher. My plan is to get an intern asap. (Maybe in 2nd year theough offcampus)

Great college with immense opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is upto date and to the industry levels, especially with great labs and internship opportunities. Exams, are based on the course but they're quite tough and we need to study daily to get good marks.

Good college with great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 4th year and many get PPOs in 3rd year as well. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Google, visits the campus for placement. In CSE last year, the highest package was around 60 LPA with average around 17-18 LPA with 80% got placed.

PEC: where engineering meets opportunity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Pec chandigarh review

Placement Experience:

Dr. SSBUICET is one of the best chemical engineering colleges in North India

To get admission in B.E Chemical at SS BHATNAGAR UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY you should score at least 65% marks in 12th grade and then you have to appear for JEE Mains exams. Best if you want to pursue chemical engineering. That too with a completion of degree just under 1 lac rupees.
