Remarks

I got into this college through my KCET rankings. There is also another way to get into the college through the management quota. The fees structure is different compared to us. The admission process here is very easy and can be completed easily.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most of the faculty is very well experienced and sought after in many colleges. We have a mentor per 25 students. Excluding some teachers, almost every teacher is easily accessible and student friendly. Some are stubborn and egoistic. My course specifically is a little difficult compared to other courses due to more technical involvement.

Internships Opportunities

We are told to do internships from our 3rd year. The college has tie up with Internshala, an internship platform for students. We have to do a mini project in a group as well and individually which we have to represent in the placements department.

Placement Experience

Placements are one of the main reasons students select our college over other colleges. We are eligible to get placed once we reach the final year. We are given placement training right from the 5th semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The govt has set a minimum fee of rs.58808 for general category students going through KCET, but the college adds extra fees and make the total fees for the academic year to around 1L. There are opportunities for many scholarships. But the college manages to take a lot of money from other activities. They could have been less expensive.

Campus Life

The college campus is very big and spacious. You can always find space to sit around and relax and also study alone. There are many clubs in the college run by students efficiently. Sports also is very well taken care of. The library is helpful. We enjoy a lot of fests as well.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
