Entrance Preview

PGCET the entrance exam i took and i got rank 411 and i opted for this college in option entry and i got this college. As i choose it as my first preference.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is so good and we additional subjects when compared to other MCA college and as i am studying first year the subjects. I have is management information system, Discrete mathematical structure, Computer organization and architecture, C programming, Unix shell programming, professional communication skills.

Internships Opportunities

As i am still in first year i do not know actual information about stipend but when i asked one of my seniors they said they got internship in some companies.

Placement Experience

So many companies visits the college as it is famous in mysore and placements are good. Many seniors got recruited and some got internship in some companies and they got fulltime job in that company and recruitment of MCA students usually carried out along with the B.E Students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is little expensive and yearly we have to pay government fee (KEA fee) of 55000 rs and aslo college fee of around 31500 rs and nearly with other expenses the college fee will be around 90 thousand.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided for backward category and some scholarships for the SC and ST from government side.

Admission

I got admission in this institute through karnataka PGCET exam and i got 411 rank and during option entry. I choose sri jayachamarajendra college as my first preference and i got this college after entering the option entry and it is a government seat.

A good start for career growth

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are average. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 2nd semester. Some companies visit the college and offer jobs in different roles. The average package is around 3-4 LPA and the highest package depends on the company. After completing my degree, I plan to get a good job and gain experience in my field

My MCA Life : The Real Experience

Placement Experience:

Students were allowed for placement from the final year. Only a few firms came and offers were limited. Avg pay was low and not many got placed. After MCA , my plan was to look for roles in tech and grow my skills.

The admission process to this branch will be based on KCET only. Eligibility is 12th pass in science stream and should a Karnataka student to write kcet.
