Remarks

For admission to NMIT, there are some exams. For outside Karnataka students, there is a ComedK exam and for Karnataka students KCET exam. Both exams can appear after the 12th completion. The syllabus for the exam is the same as JEE Mains with an easy to the moderate difficulty level.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CSE as this course is in trend and have a scope at present time. In CSE there are many faculties, some are strict and some are student friendly. They teach according to the curriculum and also give marks according to their scheme of checking.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 218600 per year

Placement Experience

Placements of CSE and ISE are 100% but for all other branches, it is struggling. The average placement is 3-4 LPA only. Rarely people will get above 10 LPA. Above 10 LPA companies are not so much good or secure to the job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Batch 2018-22 ComedK student fee : Tuition fee : 183600/- pa. College fee : 35000/- pa. Hostel fee : 70000/- pa. Mess fee : approx. 2500/- per month. KCET fee : It is less than half of the ConedK students fee. Management fee: It is a package of approx. 4lakh+ per year. Every year fee is increased by approx. 20%.

Campus Life

There is a national level college fest "Anaadyanta" held in the month of March every year. There are so many college clubs with every cultural activity and sports clubs also. Every month, there is some activity going on by the clubs. All the clubs are handled by the students only.

Hostel Facilities

There is a bed, table, chair and almirah for a student in the hostel. Rooms are 2 sharing for 1st years and 3-4 sharing for all other years. Facilities are not so much good with respect to the fee they take. In starting mess food is looks good but when you eat daily, mess food is worst.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
