Remarks

I gave my COMED-K exam in May 2018 and got the results by July 2018. Then I came to Bangalore for counseling last of July. Then again we had 2nd round of counseling in the 1st week of August and the classes start from the 2nd week.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Electronic and communication engineering according to my rank in COMED-K. Most of the teachers are well qualified. We have 3 internals and one 1-semester exam per semester. Best 2 of 3 internals is considered for CIE.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 222000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements in 2021-22 is better as compared to the previous years. Many companies with higher packages came for CSE, ISE branches. While companies with moderate or low packages come for other branches. Placements for the circuit branches are above 85 percent. Companies like Amazon, Nutanix, Oracle, etc also come for good packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

Getting admission through COMED-K is costly as compared to KCET. COMED-K fees is around 2.25 lakhs per annum while KCET fees are under 1 lakh per annum. This year the placements is good as compared to previous years. Many companies are visiting our college this year.

Campus Life

We have our Annual fest called Anadyanta which is organized in the month of March. It's really a good event to enjoy in the college. We have a good library. They have a good number of books. We have many social groups and clubs run by students.

Hostel Facilities

I stayed in the hostel which is on the college campus only. There are two types of rooms- 2 person rooms and 3 person rooms. The annual fee is around 70k excluding the mess fee which is 2.5k per month. Mess is food is neither too good nor too bad.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
