The admission process was completed taken up by JOSSA. We had to fill the registration form with ranks and categories. It had seven rounds and 1 spot round. In every round, there were three options given float freeze and slide. Once we had to visit the nearby NIT to get the documents verified physically. Once we freeze the seat then it was taken automatically as admission in that college after that we had to visit the college and confirm the admission with valid certificates if we wanted to avail the reservation benefits as well as the income benefits. An amount of around 35000 approx taken as security money which was then adjusted in the admission fees of the college. Admission form we got on the official site of josaa and there were some other formality forms like undertaking they are also available at the site.

The course curriculum is very good and the EC department is one of the oldest departments of NIT Kurukshetra. I close this branch firstly I had an interest in hardware designing and secondly, the ECE department of a NITKKR has a very good faculty team most of them are IIT pass outs. The faculty to student ratio is also very good I don't remember any instance when did not have any teacher with us. Our faculty has depth knowledge of the subject and teaching method is also very good, even in online mode. Twice the mid semester exams are taken. As per me, a moderate student can pass easily by attending class on daily basis.

There are great opportunities for internships in the college itself. Many MNCs and renowned companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, John Deere, Escort, etc visit colleges for interns recruitment. Most of the students get internships from the college itself with a very good stipend and the ones who don't get they can arrange it off campus also and the ones who do not want to work in a company also have the option to work under a professor with the project.

The campus placement of our NIT is very good. Most of the students get placement from the college itself. In the 3rd year that is in 5th semester companies visit for internship recruitment and from the 7th semester onward companies visit for full time employees. Many MNCs and renowned companies visit colleges for campus placement with top notch packages. Companies like Microsoft give PPO to brilliant interns. Placements vary from branch to branch like computer science and information technology students gets 100% placements and other branch students also get good placements in the software category. Our college has also given very good ranks in GATE.

The fee structure of the college is very good means there are three categories for the students on the income basis as well as on the caste category also. The fee structure is different for DASA students. There is not very much hike in fees with semesters. Most of the students get internships with College placements and most of them get paid internships.

NIT Kurukshetra has a very brilliant campus. The social life at NIT is also very good. There is a number of Technical societies as well as culture clubs; technobyte, microbus, spicmacay, freaks, etc are some of them. There is an annual cultural fest named Confluence and Techfest named Techspardha, due to online curriculum dates have been rescheduled so now it is not fixed about the month and dates. All the books of the curriculum are available in the library. No Book has to be purchased from outside. There is also one annual sports meet named Citius in which plenty of sports activities take place. Our college has teams for every sport and it has won in many competitions nationwide.

Hostel life for first year students is different from senior students. Facilities provided in every hostel is up to the mark. Every student gets a study table, chair, bed and almirah. For senior students, most of the students have single rooms and they have choices also for multi bedded rooms. There are about 11 hostels for boys and four hostels for girls. The hostel mess is run by students that is hostel mess is cooperative. The quality of the meal is very good. The registration process for the hostel takes place with the admission process. Hostel rooms are affordable for every single student.
