Remarks

Firstly we have to write the K-CET entrance exam. The estimated cutoff was published in the college website. All the details regarding the application form, fees and dates was published on the KEA and the college website. Sc/st people have separate reservations and fee concessions.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I was interested in the field of Aerospace. The faculty to student ratio is about 1:10. All the faculties are well behaved and highly qualified. The teaching method with smart screens and a projector is good. The exams are conducted every 30 days and they are not easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

I was offered an internship in DRDO with the assistance of the department professor. They are really helpful in obtaining internship from reputed companies. The internship is made mandatory to obtain the degree.

Placement Experience

The placement is really good for the IS, CS, Ec and EEE departments in terms of the no of companies and the salary. The other branches get less number of companies and less salary. This year the basic salary per annum is 4 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for government seats is like 30000 University fees and 56000 board fees. There is no fee hike from the college side. If the admission is from a management seat the fee is about 3.5 lakhs. There are no scholarships, financial assistance or campus jobs here.

Campus Life

The campus is not really that big and the options to have different kinds of food is also fewer. The only pro is that the campus is lush with plants and trees. So we have good quality air. The only drawback is that the college is on the outskirts of Bangalore.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
