Remarks

Good remarks - Good Teaching and placement. Bad - less Infrastructure.

Entrance Preview

I took JEE mains for admission in the institute. I scored 150 in the respective examination. I opted for the college since it is one of the premiere institute in India and is an institute of national importance. I opted for the particular course since I was interested in Chemistry and Hence I opted for chemical engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is quite interesting if we leave some of the theory courses who has large curriculum and no practicals. It is actually a research oriented course since we are provided with option of research intern starting from second year itself.

Internships Opportunities

Yes it provides internship from third year

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement are quite good, Don't know that much about packages but average is 4 LPA.

College Events

4.5

Most of the events in the college are held on a national scale. Like:- Technical - Axis (known as Central India's Largest Technical Fest. ), Cultural - Aarohi, Managerial - Consortium. Participation is quite large about 25000. Along with it college holds Institute gathering which is interdepartmental competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is quite feasible. But since it is a government college it seems quite more.

Fees and Financial Aid

No special Scholarship except the one provided by Alumni Association which is dependent on CGPA.

Campus Life

4

Campus life overall is very good. You can participate in any events and sports according to your interest. Apart from it, college has IVlabs for robotics.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Network is not that strong but college is constantly trying to improve the situation.

Exam Structure

Exams have frequency of one exam per month. Labs are quite frequent 2-3 practicals labs per week.

Faculty

4

They are overall good. Some of them might not be good at teaching but overall knowledge of the subject and its understanding of them are good enough. So if you want to learn you can learn. Teachers here are very supportive if we ask for their help.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
