Remarks

The l.P.U admission centre was available at our city (Jammu).We took the councelling there and there was no entrance. We submitted the fee and got our bags packed and went to Ludhiyana the next month after result

Course Curriculum Overview

The term exams were actually very easy due to the quality teachers we had. They were always at you Beck and call at the college hours. The term exams took place after 5 months and simple tests were also arranged after ,2, weeks

Fees and Financial Aid

The course that I took actually had scholarship facultiy.. I had scored good marks in my 12th class so I got the scholarship. The fee we paid got very less after the scholarship. It is a great work by the college to help the students with poor financial works

Campus Life

There were many groups in the college Acting clubs,Social work clubs, Environmental clubs and many other clubs. It helps a person to grow as an individual and hence benefitial to its later college life and beneficial to the society

Placement Experience:

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.

Why I chose LPU ?

I haven't applied to other colleges, although I have researched enough about them and can say why I chose LPU ? Firstly, the flexible and new curriculum which allows us to be prepared according to the new tech's need. Alumni mentors informs us about the current scenario from time to-time.
