Course Curriculum Overview
I was always curious about how modern medicines are made and how it affects our society. That's why I chose this course. There are a lot of faculties. In each semester we at least get one new professor. Faculty members are qualified enough to teach in a university. Exams are held timely and are very strictly held.
Internships Opportunities
Assam downtown university has been sponsored by many companies so it's not very hard to get internships and complete them. For example, we can complete our internship in apollo hospitals.
Placement Experience
In my course after the 7th semester, we are eligible for campus placements. Sun Pharma is the top pharmaceutical company that comes to make offers along with other companies. After a bachelor degree, the highest you can expect is a 3 - 4 LPA. I don't know for sure but almost 60% students get placement. I am going to complete my masters after getting bachelor degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall course fee is Rs. 6 lakhs. But we can apply for various scholarship schemes. I got a 10% off the scholarship because I got above 80% in my HS exam. There is one drawback though. They ask us to pay for the upcoming semester without even completing the present semester.
Campus Life
An annual fest 'ATTITUDE' is held in our university. There are available books in our university library. Classrooms are good but it could be nicer we had mic and stereo installed in our classrooms. Sports and extracurricular activities are also given importance. There are many groups where you can get more details about our university. Example- THE LASTBENCHERS.
