Remarks
I availed myself of admission under the OBC category. To ensure to have a seat you must get more than 80 percentile. That too if you have any other benefit such as non-engineer or gender diversity. I had both nonengineer and OBC benefits.
Course Curriculum Overview
6 final terms and 6 midterms are there along with that we have academic assignments, quizzes, and ppt presentations. All have some percentage contribution towards results. We follow flip classroom pedagogy.
Internships Opportunities
Companies such as Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG are the big 4 visits, also ICICI, V guard, Tech Mahindra, Tata, Byjus, Gartner, Soulflower, Mircosoft, etc are some of the glimpses of the companies that visit for Summer Internship Program. These all offered different roles and responsibilities.
Placement Experience
From the 4th semester, students are eligible for final placement. The highest package offered was 27 LPA, and 21 LPA received by students, Median package was 10.44 LPA these all are according to the previous placement report.
Fees and Financial Aid
Op Jindal scholarship for top students, for 1st years selection, is based on overall grades of admission and for 2nd year it's on their academics. Also, the college provides some amount to the college toppers up to 7 students.
Campus Life
We have a Bloomberg id password along with that access to the online library and Capital IQ access to have all the right information needed for our projects and assignments. We have a total of 27 clubs and committees for students
Hostel Facilities
College is located on the outskirts of Sambalpur, under the Sambalpur university building so there are not many shops nearby. At the hostel, we have a water filter and washing machine 1 per floor that creates problems as there are many students and it's difficult to manage.
