Entrance Preview

B.E.(CE), 9.0, best faculties and very big campus. The overall facilities here are very nice. That's why i choose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Previous years curriculum was not as per the latest requirement of the computer engineering market but from this year it was made quite elaborate and exhaustive. The best part is that the curriculum is the best available in all the prime institute in India and at global level.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provide internship to the students. We have no idea of stipend what student get at the moment but I am sure that it will at par with meritorious colleges.

Placement Experience

At present, placement and job opportunities are excellent here and the packages given are also best in the industry. Last year google took 8 (eight) students at a very handsome packages. This year also we are expecting to have a blast on jobs and we hope we will be able to beat our old records.

College Events

We had all sorts of events been celebrated in college. It includes games, sports, cultural ,social, drama, nukkad natak, debate competition etc. We also have technical and management festivals celebrated throughout the year and the participation is at a very large scale.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, we have not availed any loan or scholarship facilities provided by the college. But we will definitely look forward to avail any such facility if comes under our way.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes alumni network for NSIT is very active and all seniors are always there to support their juniors in study, placements and jobs.

Exam Structure

Exam structure here is based of semester. We used to have to semesters in one year and we used to get grades in all papers. Based on the grades we got CPI from 10. We can conclude that the exam structure here is same as IIT and all the relevant topics are covered in the particular branch.

Admission

Through all India entrance exam. Given all India entrance exam JEE and scored 1000 rank. Based upon rank we applied for preferred branch is sequence of first, second and third preference. The selection process was conducted in three phases. In first phase all the documents were checked and in the second one, the choices of branch and college were selected.

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Summary of IIT-D

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

Nsut college life

NSUT review 2024 intake

this wasa my top priority as its just 25 mins away from my home,and also cuz its one of the most reputed college in delhi for branches like CSE, IT and ECE. while comparing NSUT with DTU, both have similar reputation in delhi and strong alumni network. but DTU's campus is slightly bigger than NSUT, whereas NSUT is sometimes perceived as slightly more academically rigorous in certain branches....Read More
