There is no entrance exam for this college. You can get admission through its counselling. 3 counselings are held for students. 1st counselling is on the basis of IIT-JEE rank and 2nd on the basis of 12th percentage. If you want to do B.tech you have many options like CS, Mechanical, Electrical, electronics, Civil and Automobile.

Course structure was good. I learned all the essentials things here. The programming languages they teach me are C, C++, Java, HTML, CSS, Assembly level language. If you are interested in research, college has all facilities for this. They have sufficient amount of systems and labs to perform practical and gain practical knowledge.

I don't know much about that my college provides internship. They have been collaborated with many 3rd party companies to provide internship.

If you have above 65% throughout in 10th, 12th, and B.Tech and you don't have any back before the company arrives to the campus then there is 85% chance that you will get job because companies like Infosys and Wipro comes here for mass hiring and these company have these criteria. If you were unable to fulfill the criteria you will not be able to sit in these companies.

2 fest happens every year in my college. 1 is organised by students and other, the big one(Gra Fest) is organised by college. Gra fest is the best fest that happens in entire Uttrakhand. Celebs like Arijit Singh, Mikka Singh, Honey Singh, Raftaar, Neeti Mohan, Sunbrurn, and many more have comes to college.

Fee structure of B.Tech at my time was feasible but now it is expensive. Now fees of B.Tech per semester without hostel is nearly 1.15 lac. At my time it was 85000 per semester. But you will get every facility here. The hostel fees at my time was 60000 per semester including mess.

There are many options of scholarship. if you score more than 70% you will get scholarship up to 20000/-. There are many other scholarships like Reservation Quota and etc.

Exam structure is very good and are always on time. We have 2 exams per semester i.e. Mid-Term and End-Term. In each exam we have theory and practical exam. During 1st year it is hectic because you have classes and lab from 9am to 5pm. But after 1st year, you don't have so much burden.

Faculties of CS/IT department are good. They have knowledge and experience. Mode of communication is in English and Hindi. Faculties are friendly and always ready to help us. Dean of GEU, Mr. Kamal Ghanshala also teaches us Data Structure. Many teachers takes interactive classes.
