I also thought of taking admission in Chandigarh University but in terms of academic faculty and opportunity, Chitkara according to me was better. No quota was availed to me and also there's no scholarship as well. Admission was done on the basis of +2 marks and jee score. Minimum marks in +2 should be 60% or 75%; I am not sure about that. Counselling didn't happen due to COVID-19.

I prefer to choose CSE because of its high demand in the new developing era and also placements are really good in this department. Every batch has a class size of 40-60. The faculty is highly educated and cooperative. Most of them are PhD scholars and some are Mtech graduates. Every weekend there's a small test, apart from that midterm exam is held after 2-3 months of the commencement of every semester.

Various companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, Accenture and many more come. Many other programs like 2+2 and semester exchange are also possible in foreign countries like Europe, America, Canada availing scholarships upto100%.

Placements are good and even excellent in the college. From 5-6 semesters, students become eligible for placement. Also, 90% of students get placed. Highest package: 40 lakhs. Average package:5-7lakhs. I would either go with campus placement or for higher education.

There's no scholarship in the beginning but if you score more than 9 CGPA, you can get some scholarship. Per semester fees:80000, Hostel fees: varies room to room, Increase in hostel fees:5% each semester, Placements are Highly good in this university.

There are a lot of clubs in the college. From dance to singing to sports to technical clubs every sort of club. The library is also there and gym as well. Technical visits also happen to various cities and places.

I opted to live in hostel. The hostel is a highly good security vise. The food is good. Hostel students also get a lot of other opportunities to perform in various activities. And also it's one in a lifetime opportunity of college so we should live it to the fullest.
