Remarks

The only thing that I don't like is our courses' name I.e bsc in homes cience, we all hate this srsly. We study physics , chemistry, communication, hd, and we get to hear like what do u do in home science, Cook food, Stich clothes. This is what we get to hear from people who don't have any knowledge about our subjects the college management is good, the only thing that I would want is that they don't support the college societies much, they should support them, they don't even give them funds, students manage their funds on their own.

Entrance Preview

There was no entrance exam for this clg, it was on merit basis. I took admission here because Is has so many fields with in it, and I was really not sure what course to opp,so I got into this.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I'm really not very much satisfied with the course curriculum because randomly we get physics, chemistry in one sem where as we are studying foods and subject like human development side by side. But our syllabus is quite cool, we don't have to study all those things in deep when talking about physics and chemistry, but still there should be some change in this.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, we have a placement cell for the same and they keep providing us with internships but most of them are unpaid, which I dont find good, I think the placement cell should be a bit more active.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement opportunities I guess are good, because we have communication, resource managment, human development, foods, and this is our plus point, we can apply for many fields, I'm not much aware of the companies as I'm in second year right now.we don't get to know about it now.

College Events

3

Ohhh, my college events. They are just amazing!! I guess I have the only college where we have rain dance on freshers party, and have 2 fresher parties and this time we had sukhe the rapper with us on our delhi times freshers. And feria, Our cultural fest, that's the best thing, best event, we have one of the best fests seriously.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I feel our fee structure is expensive as compared to other du colleges, but it is because of our labs and practicals ,but still I find it very expensive, where as other du colleges have fee structure of 6000-7000 per year, we have to pay 16-17000 per annum which is quite expensive. As well as we have other expenses too like we have to manage our heavy decorated files and we spend so much on that.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes I guess we do have some scholarship at our college I don't know about it much but one of our seniors has gone to new York for further studies and I don't think if any other scholarship or any other thing is there.

Campus Life

4.5

Ours is a girls college, and seriously we are very much motivated by all of the staff members, and everybody inspires us a lot. There's nothing wrong, seriously everything is so cool , and at the same time disciplined. We keep having conferences at our college especially in communication, and our college societies are very well known like navrang , tarkaas and poise are very famous.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Well I don't know about the hostel. But the canteens are good, we have 2 canteens in our college, one is coke canteen and another is aunty canteen, at coke canteen we have junk foods like burger, sandwich, pasta, donuts and our burger is seriously better than mcd. And aunty canteen has dosa, rajma chawal and thaali and stuff like this, recently we got both of our canteen sponsored by coca cola.

Alumni/Alumna

We are iheians and we are really cooperative, we all really work together, taking the recent event, the naac committe visited our college, we all worked together and really proved our selves and got ana amazing grade we got A grade from naac, our seniors truly help us in studies, they provide us with notes too.

Exam Structure

I feel we have the strictest teachers when talking about our exam time, we have more than 2 teachers in a hall, the labs are easily accessible ans the non teaching lab staff is very helpful, I feel exams are quite hectic but labs are like very amazing ,very chilled out.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is really good, I guess I find this the only du college where teachers come regularly and teach each and every class ,they are hardly on leave, they are very much dedicated and we'll qualified, this even makes our college much better than the rest of the du colleges.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.
