Remarks

I applied for Rammohan College. Due to covid, I couldn't attend college but soon it is opening again and I want to go visit my college and experience each and everything properly. The admission process was good though it was online we could do that properly without getting into trouble.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose a bachelor of commerce (honors) for my further studies because I wanted to do something great. And the Teaching methods of our professors are really good they explain it so well. I completed my two-semester and it was not that difficult. I did it very well.

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In our the fees for each semester is like around three thousand per semester. We get many opportunities for scholarship financial assistance or campus jobs such as kanyashree, siksayatan, swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship scheme for minorities for providing financial assistance and many more..

Campus Life

Since I have not joined college practically so I don't have much idea about all of these, so hereby I couldn't tell you. In my campus, they play sports like badminton, throw ball and many more. After I join my college I would happily participate in all those sports and extra curricular activities on the campus.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SXC is an old pedigree!

Placement Experience:

Companies of all domains like the Asian Paints, EY, Nestle and HDFC Bank among all of them come to SXC. Biggest placements so far has been of 20 lakhs or so when one of the student was placedat such a package in 2024.

SXC Kolkata is a niche college!!

Placement Experience:

At our college placements are good and many core companies or finance and IT are here for placements and intenrships as well. Average placements from what I have checked is around 4-5 lakhs per year for B.Com (Hons) students.

SXC is super special!

Placement Experience:

EY, PWC, Unacademy, and Deloitte are some of the big names which came last year and has been coming since long. SXC is renowned and placements are great as even B.Com (Hons) have students who have bagged packages worth 20 lakhs or so.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell club which functions in the college itself which is efficient in providing over 67 to 98% of students with placements. This percentage can vary for different years and different courses. The college has been successful in attracting top recruiters like deloitte, wipro, TCS, and leader companies from various other sectors. Packages vary significantly from 4 to 6 LPA up to 24LPA. After getting my degree i am planning to first make sure that i have completed my CA course that i am pursuing alongside. And then going ahead with either a job outside kolkata or open a business in kolkata itself.

I always want to build my career in commerce and my aim is to be a chartered accountant. So I took this course because the syllabus of CA and B.com is the same. our college faculties are so helpful. They always come forward to resolve our academic and nonacademic doubts. Their teaching methods are also good. we don't need to purchase any book, their notes are enough for our syllabus.
